How long is hire for?
It depends on the package you choose. Our shorter hires are ideal for parties and community events, while our wedding packages include up to 6 hours of play, giving everyone plenty of opportunity to have a go. If you’re unsure which option is best, we’ll happily point you in the right direction.
Do you deliver everything and set up?
Of course—we wouldn’t leave you holding the putter. We’ll arrive before your guests, build the course, make sure everything’s looking perfect, and clear it all away afterwards. We do the hard stuff, so you can enjoy the strokes.
Is Good Strokes suitable for children?
Absolutely—and they usually end up showing the adults how it’s done! Good Strokes is designed for guests of all ages, from little ones taking their very first putt to grandparents determined to prove they’ve still got it.
We’ll be on hand throughout your hire to keep everything running smoothly, so everyone can relax, have fun and enjoy a little friendly competition. Just don’t be surprised if the kids start beating the grown-ups…
Can Good Strokes be used outdoors?
Absolutely—and that’s where we’re most at home. The majority of our bookings take place outdoors, whether it’s on a lawn, in a marquee, at a country house, village green or festival field. Our course is designed to look fantastic and keep guests entertained in a wide range of outdoor settings. If your venue has a suitable indoor space, we’re happy to set up there too. Rain or shine, we’ll always do our best to keep the Good Strokes flowing
What areas do you cover?
We’re Hampshire-based and regularly bring Good Strokes to Southampton, the New Forest and beyond. If you’re unsure whether we cover your venue, just ask—we’re always up for a conversation. Especially if it leads to a Good Stroke.
How do I book?
Booking your Good Stroke couldn’t be easier.
Simply fill in our enquiry form with your date, venue and event type, and we’ll check availability before getting back to you with everything you need to know. No complicated forms. No pressure. Just a friendly chat to get the ball rolling. It all starts with one Good Stroke.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. We ask for a deposit to secure your date and make sure nobody else gets their hands on your Good Stroke. Once we’ve confirmed availability, we’ll send over all the details, including your booking confirmation, deposit amount and payment options. Simple, secure and one step closer to a Good Stroke.
What happens if the weather has other ideas?
Let’s face it… British weather likes to keep us on our toes. Most of our bookings take place outdoors, but we’ll keep a close eye on the forecast in the lead- up to your event. If the weather looks like it might spoil the fun, we’ll work with you and your venue to explore the best option—whether that’s moving indoors (if there’s suitable space) or discussing an alternative plan. Our priority is making sure you and your guests have an amazing experience, whatever the forecast.
